Afternoon Tea

Cupcake & Painting.....yes , I guess this is "My little cakes for you" TRADEMARK !!! I've posted a few cupcakes & paintings on the blog , sorry peeps ,I love doing both so much . The only different is cupcake for business but painting strictly just a hobby... ( perhaps , one day will make as a business too, insyaallah) Here a simple swirled vanilla cupcake on painted cutlery box ( this is my recent painting project) Thank you K. Jae for the orders .

Easter Egg , Easter Chick

This easter egg on the left has just cracked to reveal a sweet little chick and the other easter chick is just about to flap its wings and jump out of the egg... The enamel kettle which I've painted with a hen and the chicks is one of my favourite among all . I did the painting last year and was thinking it would be nice to take some pictures with the easter eggs cupcakes..... So what do you think?? Thank you for the order...."wink"

Dahlia Flower

Purple 'Dahlia'...I used to have Dahlia plants but unfortunately it didn't grow as it supposed to probably because of the weather or ...hmmmm lack of attention hehehe... Let me share with you..Dahlia plants originally from Mexico, family of flowering plants with wide variety. They grow in size from one to five feet. Dahlia plants prefer full sun and they are big feeders. Make sure the soil is rich and fertile, add plenty of compost and apply mulch. Keep the soil moist but drained, at all times. Here 'Dahlia flower' decorated on 'Very Litte' size , and picture is taken on a scenery painted wooden stool as a background. This scenery painting is my recent project , simple and stylish perfect for any corners in the house...

Cupcake Paintings

Finally, I have managed to complete the cupcake paintings that I have been procrastinating all this while...YEA! I got the idea from one of my cupcake book collection. I was thrilled to show it to my 'SIFU' Kak Aniza (Les Fleurs Decorative Painting) as I knew she would love the book and I was absolutely right, the moment she flipped the 1st page she kept saying, 'I love this , I love that, look at this one and that one'...and finally ' I must get this book' and right away jot the title. After flipping through the chic and divine designs, we then chose the one that I've painted. I painted them on the wooden plaques which I've coated with amethyst + titanium white and the other with sunflower yellow. I will paint more and try it on different materials such as bottles, cans and fabric.....

Little cakes.....painting??

Most of you might wonder why these cuppies were taken in such a way? Actually I've got some new books from my 'hubby' ( Thank you dear 'B' for getting those amazing books all the way from AKL (Auckland)...keep on looking for more great books ya!! One of the books (which amazes me),not just about recipes or decorating cupcakes but mostly on how to present them in multitude of ways,One of the ways was on nice paintings and that was the reason why these cuppies end up taken on a scenery painting which I've painted myself (yes ,I do folk art decorative painting as well besides baking and such...) so what do ya think? Little cakes....painting??
